The monitor runs fine until I attempt to play video games. Some games work but the problem is with the more hi res games. Lines shoot all across the screen like confeti. For example, a chunk of the sky will be in the grass and a chunk of the grass will be in the sky (though this happens all over the screen). I can play for a few minutes before this happens....once this happens if I restart things will go back to normal for a few minutes then they will crap out again. The monitor is only 3 months old and worked fine for the first couple of weeks.
I have a 5600 nvidia video card so I know it cant be that. I have a gig of memory and a 1.4 Ghz processor.
This is getting very annoying someone please help.

CRT's are better for games. That LCD monitor has a rather s-l-o-w response time, maybe that is the problem.

You could also try toggling the switches or menu....If I am not mistaken. there is an option there to set it back for factory options. It might do the trick....
You have a nice video card there....Check also if there is an update driver for that one and....1gb of memory is cool!
Try and download the lates Directx from Microsoft =)
