im having trouble with my resolution, i just downloaded lots of updates, one of them being a video update and now my screen resolution is way too low and i tried to fix it in the control panel but i didnt work, it just stayed the same and it wont let me into my nvdia options so i was wondering if anyone could help? i didnt know what bit to put this in so sorry if its in the wrong place. the colour is also a bit wierd

I moved the thread to the multimedia forum for you. Know as to your problem,
where did you download the update from? Was it Nvidia or Windows Update? What is your OS? If it's XP, you can restore from a previous restore point. Need a little more information.

Removing the updated driver and re-installing another one should help.
Yes, we need to know how/from where did u do the update.

well it was an update from windows after an error occured, it said that i should downlaod a few things and i did, but i fixed it by just restoring my computer to an earlier date , that thing.

I am having the same problem. I did an update from the HP website for my keyboard. Ever since then, my screen has been set at the minimum resolution, and it wont allow me to fix it. I have a an HP Pavillion 466 Mhz, Win98 second edition. I don't have any ideas on how to fix it.

You need to start your own thread and state exactly what problem you have when it occurred and what you have tried to solve it.
List what video card you have and tell us if the driver is installed in device manager.
