Hello all,

I have a home network with three computers attached. Two of them are PC's and the forth one is my Wireless laptop. I have an old 264 MHz machine with XP pro installed and I want to use it as a file server (since It's not really good for anything else). But I'm using the moniter that goes with this computer for my laptop; so my question is, is there a way to set up the computer so that I can view the desktop through my laptop or another computer on the network so that I will not need to install a monitor on the computer? If this is possible, is there a way to control the computer entirelly externally so I won't need to have a mouse and keyboard attached to it? By the way, the computer will be attached to the network too.

Thanks,
Jason O

I prefer to use a KVM switch for my server
If your server system is within a few feet ( 10 Feet)
You can use the Keyboard/video/monitor switch to use one keyboard and monitor for multiple systems

Other wise you would need to setup a remote access system on the server
