I was looking at Charles' Network+ book online when my screen on PC1 went black for about 5 seconds and then came back up where it was before. What would cause this to happen? PC2 is up but noone is presently working at that station. Could this be a networking issue? Feedback requested.
Also, I have read some comments about members favorite guitars. Mine are '62 P-bass (all original) and '60 Gower acoustic. I had to sell my Gibson SG's and black Les Paul custom due to illness several years ago. It's good to know there are several musicians around wherever I go.

What video card and driver are you using? I had a similar problem with the Nvidia 61.77 drivers. rolled back to the 44.71 Problems all gone.

ATI Radeon 9200 (RV280)-version? 6.14.10.6368.
Now that I think about it, it acted like this the other day when I was resetting the network settings on PC2 but did not stay off. It clicked, went black, and came right back up. In case you did not read my other post on Gaming SIF-problems with Jane's WWII fighters, PC2 has one program that since hooking the two PC's together, does not run. Why do I get the feeling that this is all related? The only thing that I have not done is remove the network hardware/ and the game program at the same time/ and start over from scratch. If needed, I have Everest home installed (thanks Saphelline for the tip) and can display the settings and configurations of each computer.
