My wife has a Baby Lock sewing machine / embroidery machine and another one (can't remember the brand, but it's not Viking). Both have proprietary card slots that allow the machine to use different fonts and patterns. As far as I know, the only place to get them is from the manufacturer. I'll ask her if she knows anything about Vikings when I get home. A model name or number might help.

Managed to find Viking on the web..

http://www.husqvarnaviking.com/

After that I wasnt sure what to look for but maybe it will help. If nothing else I guess you could mail them.

I do not have any knowledge about the memory cards used by the Viking Embroidery Machine, which is made by Husqvarna but the latest Janome machine does accept commercial "memory" cards. Information about the cards usable with Janome can be found at http://www.janome.com/faq_helpdesk_cats_all.php?id=90. Perhaps one of the cards listed by Janome will fit the Viking machine but obviously you will need to exercise some care if you decide to try one of these cards.
