This drive incurred a virus used removal utillity it cleaned up some but not all
I wasnt able to continue so i shut the pc down for about two weeks.
But we I came back it would not show the drive in bios but it detect in post but just searched at primarymaster prompt_ What gives!!

JMor - not one has responded so I would suggest you give more detailed explanation of your problem. In particular, what sort of HDD, how is it partitioned and formatted and which Operating System are you using.

If a drive does not show in the BIOS you are going nowhere fast. Either the drive is caput or settings are wrongly configured. You must have good cables, connectors and have the drive jumpered correctly. In the BIOS try resetting defaults or clear the CMOS on the motherboard. Also ensure you set the value for the drive to auto in the BIOS.

Do you know which virus was involved? There are some really bad villains out there.
