hey i am using windows ME and my computer kept getting viruses i got some not sure of all i cant get the rest and now i cant find my cd rom drive it recognizes it when i start up it says so but i cant find it in my computer can someone help me please

well all it is was the trojen horse virus i got rid of some of it with avast anti virust umm that is all i know

Download Hijackthis (http://www.subratam.org/main/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=19&Itemid=41)

Install into a permanent folder.

Choose the option to scan and create a log.

Post the contentts of the log back here for review.

DO NOT attempt to fix anything on your own.
