I don't know if this is relative but since reading and trying to follow instructions about recovering saved password ability on my dial up (which was unsuccessful BTW), somehow in the last 24 hours I no longer have a file named: msnp32.dll . The error states "unable to load dynamic link library: msnp32.dll Cannot find file. Some or all features will not be available online" but not 100% in those words.
Anyone know how to recover the file? It actually hasn't caused a problem as of yet other than boot up gets paused until I OK the screen. Is it part of Win98se? Or DOS? Or browser?

'Clean clothes'
I was in a hurry the other day so to save time I went to my PC and selected 'find'. In it I typed, 'clean clothes' and it came back with nothing.
So next I selected 'run' and typed: 'clean clothes' again but it came back with this: 'Cannot find 'clean' or one of it's components'. Well NO SH!T EINSTEIN! That's exactly my problem too!
There IS no clean clothes and I'm in a hurry! Why do you think I gave that freakin' command in the first place? What part of 'CLEAN CLOTHES' doesn't it understand? GGRRRR!!! One of these days ALICE!... Right in the kisser.
Does my OS have PMS? I'm seriosly considering trading in my POS for a younger version. Something fresh with big VAZZOOMBAS!
Whadda ya think Norton?

Hi Fruss Tray Ted.
The DLL should be in Windows\system\. At least, it is on my machine http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Hey Dave,
I took the file from temp and put it in system. Thanks. One problem fixed, now windows wants a password to log on again and I still can't get the dial-up to remmember that password either.
One step forward, two steps back. Doe-see-doe and swing yer pardner...

Go to the network applet on the control panel...Is it set for Windows Log On?

Happy to help http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif On the second point about remembering password, is Client for Microsloth Notworks installed? If it isn't, then you need it to remember the passwords. Dunno why, but it does!
