Hi Folks,
I have tried to burn onto a Memorex dvd+rw 1-4 speed and when i try to copy the file to the disk a window appears to tell me to insert a blank disk?? I have put one in allready...
I must appologise if this has been asked before but i haven't done this before and i thought it would be an easy task and probably is if you know what your doing..
Any feedback would be much appreciated..
Regards Matt.

What makes you think this is a "virgin" disk?
Did you take the Cellophane off the case immediately before you put it in the drive?
Is it possible this DVD-RW has been formatted for use with some [burning] application?
Which burning application are you using?
Is it for Packet-Writing?
Which Operating System?

intervideo dvd copy is for copying dvd's to dvd-r's only. If you are trying to use dvd-rw's, they are for what Sylvander mentioned. They are used like a giant floppy for files of all types.
You need dvd-r's or dvd+r's. Anything with 'rw' in it's name will not work unless you install NERO, Roxio or a few other burner programs that have some sort of packet writing software. It is actually a separate software included in the package from the regular burning software that does cd-r's and dvd-r's.
