Mini-Me

Hi all.
:)
I want to build a case of my own, which is made out of nice dressed-timber.
Yes, I said timber!
I am bored with metal cases and their bland appearence.
Yes, they are cheap and do the job very well, I just want to do something different.
I have seen PC's built into anything these days, usually using those dinky ITX boards.
What I want to do, is put my Mini-ATX board, and all it's peripherials into a woden case. The m/board will be mounted on a ground-plane taken from an old PC case, and this will be screwed to the wooden case. The reason for this, is to provide the m/board with some sheilding.
Hard and floppy disks will also be mounted in 3.5" carriers, taken from old PC cases, and likewise, screwed to the wooden enclosure.
The front of the case will consist of a cosmetic air-vent from a hardware store, which hindges down to cover the entire front - including the CD-ROM drives etc. When you need to put in a CD, you open the flap, and then open the drive tray.
The majority of the rear panel, will consist of 80mm fans, wired togeather both physically and electrically, controlled by several thermal sensors placed on things like CPU and hard disks.
The CPU will be cooled by the fan-duct method, allowing me to remove the noisy CPU fan.
Do you think this will pose any problems?
MM.
