Dual-layer burners exist alright but I'm not sure that DVD+RW (or DVD-RW for that matter) media supports dual-layer technology. Haven't been able to find a definitive answer but perhaps the layer of dye can't be used in this way (yet). Someone around may know for sure but do let us know if you can find a source.

You could look for any such references at http://www.dvdplusrw.org/Default.asp or maybe scout around http://club.cdfreaks.com/forumdisplay.php?f=103

To use the DVD-DL you need to buy the Mdea for it

The drivers are easy and cheap
The disks however are $$

DVD-RW has a capacity of 4.7Gig
The DVD-DL has a capacity of 8.5Gig

the blank disks at pcconnection are
http://www.pcconnection.com/ProductDetail?Sku=5592404
http://www.pcconnection.com/ProductDetail?Sku=5231983

$14.95 to $27.00 for 3 pack
