Hello all, Im trying to replace my small hard drive on my dell pc.... I put in my oem cd and pluged in the new 160g drive.... installed xp on the new drive just fine. then thought I should put xp on a smaller partition and chop up the big hard drive into smaller sections... I formated the drive again to start over and now I get this "NTLDR is missing" error. did some searching and it shows that this is a problem with the booting of a drive.. well i have no boot on the drive and my xp cd is bootable... what gives???

Try changing the boot order to boot from CD first.

Post your results.
