Today my hard drive started to make a clicking sound during a CD burning session. If this gets worse, I am going to buy a new drive before it fails completely and I loose everything. What I wanted to know is I am going to look at the Serial ATA instead of the normal IDE. Since the serial connection is different can I still transfer my data from the old IDE drive to the new serial drive at the same time?
