Hey guys, I just recieved a PQI pc3200 2 gig dual channel kit. When I installed it, the system recognized it right away and everything ran super smooth, I was surfing the web about 10 minutes later when my computer just froze. I've been testing it out and it doesnt do it if I switched my old ram back in, only when i put the new ram in. Anyone have any ideas?

what is your 3rd Dimm?

Sounds like a bad stick of ram. Download Memtest (http://www.memtest86.com/), make a bootable floppy, copy files to the floppy and reboot. Run the test for at least an hour or more or until you get errors. You can also download an ISO file to make a bootable CD if you like.
