does anyone know where to buy a cheap office chair thats good quality?

Office Max usually has a deal going on chairs. With rebate you can get one for $50 or less.
There may be other cheaper places that members may know about.

Rule of thumb is that you usually get what you pay for. In Minneapolis, where I live, they have used office equipment stores. You might be able to pick up a decent chair for cheap if you have one of these places close to you...

I have been looking for a good comfortable office chair for months and finally picked one up that I thought would be good... I am looking again because it is not... I may have seen one today at Sam's Club, but it was up on a platform so I couldn't try it... I am not even looking for one that cheap, but still not really finding much... The one at Sam's Club was about $160 if I remember...

Re: OfficeMax... They have some of the most irritating rebate policies anywhere... If you buy something from them, make sure you are comfortable with the price without the rebate because there is a good chance you will never see it...

i have been to office max and the only good ones i saw there were at least 150.....i can't afford that high of a price:( i was wondering if there was a store online that had low prices...like newegg.com, except i know they dont have them there

Again, used office furniture might be worth at least mild consideration...

There are companies that lease office furniture to major corporations and then turn around and sell it when the leases are up and the suits want to "freshen" their offices.

Some of the brass don't spend much time in their offices so their furniture could yet be pretty pristine...

Might be worth a shot. I've picked up some really nice file cabinets and I remember seeing just about anything office related. Decent prices too! :)

If you were to buy a nice chair online, it would have to be pretty cheap to come in under $150 after you pay shipping charges... Chairs are heavy and bulky...

You can find a decent office chair for as little as $30 after rebates, but it won't be the most comfortable for long hours...
