i used to have cable using a hardline into my ethernet port. i play online games a bunch (aom, battle for middle earth, aoe) and host my own server. using my cable modem to my ethernet port it would work fine joining and serving games. now i use my cable modem connected to a linksys router with a linksys wireless adapter in my desktop. no i cannot connect to the server providing any online games. i can go into the router and change settings but am unsure of what to change. i have the UPnP enabled but i don't know what else to do. one error i was getting was something like "unable to connect to port 2300 UDP" i think it was UDP. i've used wireless before and not had a problem i just gotta find the right settings...any ideas?

One thing i might suggest is to make sure that your wireless adapter is set at the right rate. Because if you have it set to 54mbps it won't connect to an 11 mbps router. So just check that. Also, does windows say that you cannot find a wireless connection? Can you get on the internet using wireless?
