i want to know if i can have a computer with linux and win 98 to handle two different modems. one winmodem and one ISA modem? or windows will have problems trying to do this when i am not using linux?

You can have a system with every expansion slot containing a modem.
Windows can use all of them.
Linux will not use the winmodem unless you install one of the winmodem applets for it.

Linux will however allow you to ignore the winmodem and setup and use the remaining modem(’s)
