I am bidding on a Crucial, 512MB PC2100 DDR 266mhz SODMM 200 pin RAM for my laptop. I typed SODIMM, but this one came up and I didn't notice it until after I bidded. Did I just make a big mistake?

As I said already, sodmm is a spelling error.

also, you need to be VERY careful in selecting RAM for a laptop. They are notorious for being picky eaters and are very fussy about the RAM installed. You need to research compatability and speak with the seller whenever bidding on any at eBay.

Trust me on that one :rolleyes: Been there, done that.
