Im putting together a computer from scratch and have combined My new abit bdl7 raid with a Pentium 4 1.8 cpu.
I keep getting a consistent error mesg as follows..."CPU unworkable or has been changed"

Whats going qoing wrong.Do I need to update my bios or are there settings I need to change in Soft menu and if yes what are they?
Also I tried installing windows 2000 but was greeted with the following mesg.. "Couldnt find place to put swap files"
Means nothing to me Im afraid.Im a complete novice! http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/frown.gif

You may need to update your bios for the "changed" error. ( Intel has this error documented here INTEL (http://support.intel.com/support/processors/pentium4/tti015.htm) )

For the "swap" error...When do you get it? Before you can install or after when Win2K is starting the first time?
