I'm sort of at a loss here. I just built my new computer about a week ago with:

ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI ATX
AMD Athlon 64 3500+ Venice
CORSAIR XMS 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Unbuffered DDR 400
ENERMAX All in One Noisetaker Series EG701AX-VE SFMA(24P) ATX12V 600W
XFX PVT43GNDF3 Geforce 6600GT GDDR3 PCI Express x16

The computer has been up for about 2 weeks now. I had to remove one of the video cards because I was having some wierd lock-up issue when SLI was enabled. I disabled the SLI feature and removed the card. I also unplugged the 4-pin EZ Plug power connector that is supposed to be plugged in when using dual video cards. When I put the case back together and tried to turn on the computer nothing happens. I have checked all the connectors and tried unplugging everything and re-attaching all the power connectors to no avail.

Even when the SLI feature was goofing and causing lock-ups I still had power. When I ran the system for about a week on just one card it ran perfectly. I looked up some stuff to try to fix the dual video card issue and tried it again, but it was still messing up. So, I switched it back to the single video card setup, and I am now looking at a computer with zero power. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I tried switching power cords and plugging directly into the wall and nothing happens.

EDIT: Also forgot, when I plug in the power and flip on the switch in back the green mobo light does NOT come on. I'm assuming it's either the mobo or psu, but I don't have a spare psu handy that I can just throw in.

With no mobo light, try buying a cheap motherboard (£20-30) and try plugging the gear in again. At least you will be able to tell if its the mobo or PSU. Good luck anyway.

I don't really have access to a "cheap" mobo(the cheapest can find for my chipset w/PCI Ex is 70$US). I do, however, have access to another power supply, so shouldn't I be able to just try switching that out and still be able to tell if it's the psi or mobo just the same?

It would be far cheaper to get this device....

You might be able to find that in a local store hopefully.

I agree with John0904. Get the PSU tester and check the power supply.

I have that Aspire trester. I does molex, floppy, the square P4 and the 20 pin atx connectors only. If you have the newer type power supply with 24 pin connector, it won't work on that connector.

Jumper the power supply to on, and use a voltmeter if you have one. Short the green and adjacent black wires.
