Hi,

I just installed new hard drive a few days ago.

The hard drive light is always on and never blinks as long as power is on.

I can't tell if it's still trying to do something or it's not responding
when errors occur.

Should I take it to the tech person who install it for a check up?

Any idea why it doesn't blink?

Thank you very much http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif

If the Hard drive light is always on.
I’d look at the connectors for the Drive and Power lights.
It may have been connected to the wrong pins.
Look at the power Light on your case.
Does it come on or flash?

If it is flashing during drive activity the connectors were reversed.
Also note that these LED’s are polarity sensitive. + to+ - to -
If the poles are reversed they will not work at all
