Recently lightning messed up my old motherboard ecsk7s5a replaced with k7s6a Have invidia g force 2 mx400, DVD Drive, cdrw dirve 60 gig hard drive soundblaster audgi Installes on windows xp works fine Problum When I install my creative digital video blaster VCR and rebut system looses cd and dvd and sound card. system hangs and won't find cd or dvd drives
only finds hard drive and audio card, I thank this is maby a Bios setting don't no please help

Ok, since you switched boards, you also switched chipsets...did you do a fresh install of your OS?

If not you may have issuse with the chipset drivers from the old board, or other problems with left over drivers from the previous configuration...

You can try Device Manager (Control Panel -> System -> Hardware -> Device Manager), When in DM look a round (not quite sure where the setting is tools or view....) and select "Show hidden" hardware....then you can look for things like you drives, especially CDs, and remove them starting with the ones that are somewhat greyed out, also get rid of anything referring to the Sis735 chipset (your old board)...
