Attempting to work on Advantage Adventure AST (ca. 1994) with 16 MB ram.
Immediately after running the POST memory test, it asks for a password, which I don't have.
It uses an AST BIOS Vers. 2.02. Is it possible that a BIOS can be set to require a password? If so, how do you get into the BIOS to alter it? I've tried Esc, Del, all the F-keys. I've removed the BIOS battery for a minute or so and changed the jumper near the BIOS chip, but no change.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
