Got this issue and haven't solved it yet! When a video clip is played on the laptop using windows media player, the video itself doesn't appear on the projection screen but the media player appears on the projection screen and on the laptop. Would this be an issue on the laptop or the projection? :rolleyes:

It sounds More like Software .
The drivers for some of the video cards will NOT display a Movie or video on the 2nd screen , ( your Projector )
While displaying it on the first screen..

You can change this in the drivers features in Advanced settings under the display properties .
For example the Clone to second Monitor feature will do this
You may have to setup the projector as a second monitor and use extend desktop to second
In a few cases you have to disable the extend to second monitor and just set it as a second .

It all depends on the video card installed and the drivers involved
