I was wondering if anyone knows if a system is in serious danger without the config.cab file installed. Basically i wanted to remove winXP from my computer and replace it with winMe, this involved formatting my hard disk, but when i tried to install Me it would stop installion (after about 10%) and restart my comp. I realised the file that caused this was a problem with config.cab, so i bypassed this file while installing. Seems to be running fine till now, but im still a little worried, thanx.
