Hi. Is there a procedure to follow to replace a PS2 mouse connected to mobo with a USB optical mouse? Should the PS2 mouse be removed first? Then reboot? Or what in which order?

The correct procesure is:


Turn the system off.
Unplug & remove the PS2 mouse.
Plug in the USB mouse.
Re-boot System.
Have driver disk ready if needed (Usually for Windows 98).
