just install soyo sy p4rvte board with p4 2.8 533fsb & p4 3.0 800fsb.

no boot, no sound, nothing. did everything, take board out of case, grounding, raised board, video card, memory.

then i pull out all the HD led, reset, green led cabke & it beep & boot.....
slowly connect each 1 back & found that when the RESET cable is connect, the board wont boot.

strange....nothing wrong with the CPU...its the reset cable

this is my first on something like this...any one know what is going on?

Never heard of this happening before and I've been here for years and seen a lot of problems reported.
I wonder if it's the switch that's shorting the connection.
Perhaps you should try a new one to make certain it's the switch that's at fault.
