I just upgraded with an ASRock K7S41 Mobo and AMD Sempron 2600+. The CPU should be running at 1.83, but only shows at 1.15. Is there something I should do in the bios? Isn't it supposed to recognize the chip? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Yes. Settings in BIOS need to be adjusted. First, your FSB must be set to what you have installed for RAM. Setting it to 166 for example would be correct for 333mhz, pc2700 memory. The FSB should read 1/2 what the frequency of your RAM is. This should be found in something mentioning 'Advanced Chipset...' under DRAM timing.
Reboot and watch if one of the initial screens reports your processor as a 2600+. If not, post back and we'll adjust something else.
