Another one for you techies. This is my personal computer. I have a SONY system with 370+ MB RAM, 2 80 GB harddrives, ME operating system.
It works fine except when trying to reply to email. Have tried both Outlook Express and Eudora, same thing... hit REPLY and place the cursor in the text area, and the whole system freezes tight as a drum.. cannot ctrl/alt/del, but CAN push the power button to make the system restart. It is about 30% of the time when hitting reply. Thought about upgrading, as I know ME is unreliable, but it is one of those fancy-schmancy SONYs that has a ton of video software that won't work with any OS except ME.. at least without a lot of driver updates, which I don't like the thought of.
Anyone seen this? Thanks for response.
