When I run my Norton Disk Doctor, I get the message that the DOS Boot Record on Drive C cannot be fixed? What should I do to fix it? Thanks!
If your running Win9x
Boot from a win9x boot floppy.
Then run FDISK /MBR

That won't wipe out my data on C: will it?
Does it boot normally?
Did you use a third-party partitioning tool?
If either of those are yes then what Norton is reporting is really that you have a non-standard MBR. If it boots normally and you didn't use a partitioning program then a good Virus scan may be in order. If no then the fdisk_/mbr will repair the boot record and leave your data intact.
