Hi again,
So, having found this link
http://www.sysopt.com/userreviews/mboards/reviewhtml/Intel_SE440BX2.html

it looks like overclocking could have boosted the Mhz. In that case, should a buyer ask what the "original" (i don't know what to call it..."set up"?) is before buying at the overclocked rate?

sorry, i have no idea about these overclocked issues although i see many locals talk about it here..

cheers
anton

This page (http://support.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/se440bx2/sb/cs-013634.htm) says it will support PIII also. Maybe that's what's in it?

What, may I ask, is the asking price and why are you looking at it in general if you don't mind?

Hi fruss,
Yes,
lately i've been asked by my parents friend's about getting pc to access the internet (should have heard the demonic tales one couple were spinning about the evils of the internet at the bocce club...i tell you...but once they came over to check it out....converts!!!)

hence my assistance into purchasing pensioner priced pc's.
The one mentioned is $100 (australian) ;)

cheers
