I have a toshiba satelite pro 6000 series and 4 years old. Quite often the screen has colored lines going across the screen from top to bottom.
the only way to get rid of them is turn the computer off and wait. But happens again. any help?

Usually vertical lines are due to broken cabling/loose connections from the notebook to the display. Does moving the display angle change the symptom?
