I have a jumper labeled "Chassis" on my ASUS motherboard - does anyone know what it does, because my ASUS manual doesn't make any note of it.
Thanks,
Brian

I believe it's there to enable or disable the intruder detection mechanism. If the jumper is enbled and CMOS is set to detect it, then if someone has opened the case there will be a message at boot-up letting you know that the case has been opened. Is this what you're talking about?

Jim,
You're probably right. I thought it might of had something to do with my computer not running the POST, but guess not. Thanks for your help.
