Guys apart from Final Cut Pro what else can someone suggest to me which would be cool or cooler than it. I cannot use Final cut pro in Windows therefore am looking for an alternative software.

Any suggestions ?

Sony Vegas 6 (http://www.sonymediasoftware.com/Products/ShowProduct.asp?PID=965) is an extremely good vid editing tool IMO, it costs alot though. It's kind of complicated but once you learn how to use it, it's more than worth it.

Try Canopus Edius. Tons of effects and very easy to use. It's got great "side-programs" too. Kinda looks like Adobe, but I would say Edius is better. :p

(I've only tested Xplode Professional 4.0 and ProCoder 2.0 with Edius Pro 3. Im not sure if all of these programs work "IN" Edius)
