Perhaps this may help http://www.pcguide.com/ref/hdd/bios/over.htm

At "Manually entering Drive Geometry Parameters".

Is the full drive size being auto-detected by the BIOS?

Do "MaxBlast" & "Powermax" see the full capacity?

Is the full drive size being auto-detected by the BIOS? Agree this could well be the problem area. You can read the word doc at the following link for some related advice even though the doc is mainly aimed at problems when installing Windows on a system without a floppy diskette.

How big does BIOS show the hard drive, (does it show 137gb or 200gb?).

I don't like to nit-pick, but...

g = gram
G = Giga
b = bit
B = Byte

So
gb = gram-bit [a meaningless nonsense-unit]
GB = Giga-Byte
