Good post.. We repair a ton of these units as well as th ZD 7K series.. Many issues with all that seem to be consistent with the respective model numbers.. (Same Chips in the same locations shorting, Blah blah blah).. Have had a few people ask if their machine was subject to the recall and I'd told them just call HP.. (Way too busy to look this stuff up).. Anyways its bookmarked now and you saved me a googling! ;)
