Hello there,
I have got a broadband connection that appears to be working (can access MSN Messenger and play half life online) but i cannot view any web pages in IE6 or read my mail in OE........ http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/mad.gif

I have recently had some virus infections which I have since contained (I think) but I cannot explain why IE and OE do not work. the error messages I get are the same as those you would receive if you tried to access web pages/get mail offline i.e It thinks you are not connected.

Any idea what could cause the problem (missing registry entries? system files?)

The only way I can access the net at the mo is by using my mums AOL account!! SLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!! http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/eek.gif

For now I will have to stick to half life and wait for one of you wonderful people to help me! http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif
