I've just bought 256 mb pc2100 RAM Off ebay. it was adertised as "Kingston" however when it arrived it was branded Elixir.

I contacted the seller (a PC shop selling through ebay) and they said that Elixir is just re-branded Kingston RAM.

Is this right? Ive googled as much as I can but cant find any links between Kingston and Elixir.

Elixir RAM is made by Nanya. However, I've read that some RAM makers, like Mushkin, use Nanya chips on their value RAM modules. But cannot say for sure if Kingston also uses Nanya chips.
