Ok i just go these new Sennheiser PC155 (USB) heaphones and what i would like to know is how to setup my computer so i can hear sound through both the speakers and the headphones at the same time. I have the headphones plugged into one of my USB ports, and the speakers plugged into a 'line out' plug but when i plug in the headphones it mutes the speakers. Can anyone help me out?

Hmmm...USB headphones you say?!

I have the older RCA pin jack phones. I can give you directions to where it might be if you have a Creative Sound card. Device Manager>AudioHQ>Headphones>Speakers>Check box with "Mute speakers when using headphones."

i do have a creative sound card but in my audio HQ all i have is EAX control panel, Keyboard, SoundFont, Speaker and Mixer.

This goes back to 2000 so perhaps there are driver updates for other of the cards. Which card do you have

i just installed the - Sound Blaster Live! - LiveDrvUni-Pack (English) driver off www.soundblaster.com but i havent noticed any changes..

I seem to remember installing more than just the Uni-Pak...I'll have a look later and let you know...

Ok, it appears I upgraded the PlayCenter...http://us.creative.com/support/downloads/download.asp?sOSName=Windows+XP&region=1&Product_Name=Live%21&Product_ID=4857&modelnumber=&driverlang=1033&OS=10&drivertype=0&Image4.x=19&Image4.y=12 I have 2 files in my Creative Upgrade Folder and I'm not sure why I have both. I seem to remember some confusion as to whether I needed both to upgrade or just one...sorry :(

But from the description on the page linked here it appears that it might be the PLCFull that I for sure loaded up...
