I have a universal remote (one of those 8-in-1 generic) remote things. However I have lost the code ID for the video player because I want to watch an old VHS tape.

I want to programme the 8-in-1 also for the spare TV and hi-fi that is in the spare room, where can I get the ID numbers to programme the handset?

With the manufacturer's name and model number we could try a search for the owner's manual...
