Hi all.
:)
I'm looking around, to find the best prices on a bit of test gear.
I need a spectrum analyzer for my work with analog cable-TV systems, and the analyzer has to be able to span 0Hz through to aroung 1GHz or so.
This covers all the VHF-L, VHF-H and UHF analog TV channels still used in many countries.
The HP ones you can buy here, tend to be around 15-20 grand in price, which is a little more cash then I would like to spend.
I am looking to see, if there are any PCI-cards, or USB add-on devices which will work as an analyzer. I currently have only found BitScope (www.bitscope.com), and they are looking at this possibility, but it hasen't happened yet(bandwidth above 100MHz).
Does anyone know of any other products which might be suitable?
USB would probably be preferred, as then you can pair it with a laptop, and use the analyzer in the field...
MM.
