I have an HP1320n printer and I am not sure how to set it up on our printserver. The printserver is an IBM x346 running 2003 server standard edition. I know how to do it if it had an lcd panel and menus on the printer but i don't know how to assign the printer an IP address for when i install the printer on the server. I usually have a helpdesk support but that has been unavailable to me latley.

Let the printer get an IP address through DHCP. Print a setup page from the printer controls (I think just holding the green start button a few seconds will do it). Then go to the printers web setup page at the IP you just found out on the printed page, and setup the static IP you need.
