OK I need some help, in the past year I've gone through 3 keyboards. It seems while I'm out of town or at work my wife doesn't keep the door shut to my computer room, and the kids end up breaking my keyboards.

At least I think that's what's happening, when my Keyboard starts typing on it's own. I've tried re-installing everything that has to do with the keyboard, and have ran multiple virus scans, and nothing helped so the keyboards themselves are not working properly.

What I really need, is if anyone knows of a good TOUGH keyboard, so I can quit with these cheap ones that keep breaking?

Or, you might want to consider a wireless keyboard and mouse. I use a Logitech combo that I am very happy with.

Since you don't have a cord, you can put them away in a drawer...

I have used a couple of those bendable keyboards and they are quite hardy, but also somewhat hard to use... The keys tend to be kind of wiggly which makes typing more difficult... There are a number of interesting alternatives available that are designed for work settings though... I am not sure about this one, but it may be:

and they have some other interesting options... if you are near a store, you can go in and check...

And of course, Newegg has some interesting options:
