OS: Win XP Home

I know I can take a photo with my RAZR cell phone and send it to myself as an e-mail, but that costs me 25¢ and I'm a cheapskate. So I'm trying to use my RAZR as a digital camera and simply download photos to my computer. I found a cable with USB end which actually came with a 4-port USB hub but it fits my RAZR, so I'm using it as a data cable. When I plug the phone in Windows sees the new hardware--even recognizes it as a Motorola V3c although I have a V3m--and looks for a driver both in the machine and online but doesn't find one.

I googled "driver Motorola V3m" and found a hundred hits...none of which actually leads me to a download location or anything that looks promising. Is this something I'm going to have to pay Verizon to get with their Mobile Office Kit or something like that?

The other option is to purchase a memory chip but again, I'm trying to find a way to do this for free.

Thanks,
Relztrah

Most carriers lock their phones so you have to use their software...

Yes, you will need to buy the Verizon kit. It is basically a USB cable and a CD with the drivers. Last time I checked it was way overpriced, so I am living without it.

I went thru the same frustrating proccess but I did find this site, I did buy the software from verizon, the driver didn't work I tried to contact them about the issue with no help from them. Try this site and I did install the driver in two different computers @ school.
