XPP IE7
Started having my keyboard beep after typing 8-10 words.
Had to click the mouse to resume typing.
Replaced both keyboard and mouse with new.
Check USB and PP connectors.
No good
Installed second set of Logitech KB and mouse- loaded fresh drivers etc.
Checked for software issues- removed AV and Anti spyware and firewall and new programs.
Checked settings in windows. x 100

Now- I can only type 5-10 words- beep beep- have to click the mouse and
good for another 5-10.
Please help.

I wasted days on this.
Was ready to throw out the computer.
Problem was I was unhappy with my old spam filter and went to one I used prior without issue.

Bottom line- Spamihilator - caused all those issues. I'd leave my email on- when it spooled up to check every minute or so it would stop the keyboard and make me click to resume. I never had this before and I did not think it was an issue- problem solved.

Interesting. I will have to keep that in mind for similar problems. Sometimes these "helpful" programs cause strange problems.
