I'm going crazy over here! I just purchased the Mustek ScanExpress A3 USB 11"x17" scanner because it was the only affordable option for me. I'm trying to scan record album covers for my website and it works pretty well EXCEPT I can't find an option to turn off the autocrop which occasionally decides to cut off a portion of what I'm trying to scan. (I also can't figure out where to set the resolution to a specific dpi number.)
If there's no regular option within the scanner settings, is there a workaround to solve the problem?
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Welcome to PC Guide..:D
Don't know much about scanners and such myself, but found THIS LINK (http://www.mustek.com/supportdrivers.aspx?model=A3%20USB&show=manuals&category=Scanner&series=USB%20Port) to the user manual download for your scanner..
Got instructions for setting scan size, scan mode and resolution settings etc..
Worth a read until someone more knowledgeable on the subject arrives to assist you!..;)

Thanks for the suggestion but their manual is very uninformative. I appreciate your quick reply.

In 'Scan Size' choose full or whatever it is called and use a picture editor to crop it more precisely. I also see a dpi section and tutorial in the manual, I'm not sure what it is you are having trouble with.
