hi,
my comp. configration is;
p4 1.5
128mb ram
15 gb hard disk
ati radeon 7000 driver adapter
etc.
i have a problem about my comp. performance...
after i use windows for a month it starts to be slower. (very slow) i tested my hard drive with sisoft sandra and it's performance is really very bad. i think the slowness should be due to hard disk but my ram is 128mb so maybe i should put +128mb. what is your suggestion.
my hard disk is ; QUANTUM FIREBALL Ict 10 15
thanks

If after about a month of use your performance decreases, try running defrag on a regular basis...at least once a month, more often if you are working with files that tend to be prone to fragmentation, or end up accessing your swapfile often.

Piggybacking on MJ:

Meyers A+ recommends as much as weekly defrags - lots of internet activity/surfing one scenario where defrag should be very frequent

Which also brings another factor into play - the possibility of virus infection which can also be manifested by sluggish system.:cool:

As an addition..I would clean all unnecessary files you may have stored up in your harddrive. I like to use HDVALet program...It is simple and free.....:D
