I have tried several different manufacturers of usb modems and have not found one that could reliably receive faxes. Some have approached an 80 - 85% success rate, but I would like something closer to 98% + as this is a business use. I am using the windows 2000 operating system fax software service to receive the fax.

Alternatively I would love to hear any recommendations of a software/hardware product that can receive a fax convert it to a type 4 compressed tif and store it on a network drive reliably.
