Hi,
This is not a huge problem as probelms go, but the colors of certain things on my computer have changed. My lower task bar is now white instead of blue, and all white writing in any box appears highlighted in gray. I went to display in the control panel, but it doesn't seem to be set from there. Can anyone help? I don't know if this was done by kids or software or what, but it's darn annoying!!
Thanks!
Val

Restart the PC...
Hit F8 and go to "Command Prompt Only"...
Enter the command:
c:\>scanreg /restore

Scanreg will run and display a list of the 5 latest backups of your configuration files.
Each of these backups is automatically made at the 1st successful bootup of Windows [after midnight] on each new day on which you run the pc.

Choose a backup made on [or before] the day on which the problem was introduced.
The configuration must match the hardware and Windows and programs, so I hope these have not been changed since the backup was made.

It's better to restore an image backup of the whole C: partition [then everything will match], but I guess you don't have one of those.
For the future...
Find out how it's done [ask if you're interested], and begin making image backups of the contents of your partitions.
Nasty software changes like these are easily reversed by restoring an image. :)
