i have a sony digital camcorder mx7000
when i connect this to my pc it does not recognise it.
i connect it via usb - the wizard opens up with found new hardware towards the end of the wizard installation it says drivers for:
syntex usb camera not found.
how can i view the pictures/videos on this camcorder.

Usually, USB devices require to have the device driver loaded BEFORE plugging them in. Have you tried installing the drivers that way?

The Sony camcorder came with a CD - I installed the software that was on this CD ... usually these CDs come with drivers? However this one I feel was a just the software:
ArcSoft Software suite - PhotoImpression 5/VideoImpression 5
During plugging in the USB connector to PC (other end to camcorder) when the wizard opens with "found new hardware" one option I tried was find drivers on CD-ROM but this did not work
